Survey Reports
Many buyers rely on a mortgage valuation for reassurance, but it’s not a survey, and it’s not for them. It’s a brief check for the lender to confirm the property is suitable security.
It won’t tell you about the condition, defects, or risks that could cost you thousands.
Commissioning your own survey is a straightforward way to protect your investment. It gives you independent insight into the property’s condition, helping you make informed decisions and avoid costly surprises
There are three levels of survey reports:
Class 1 – Specific Issue Report
From £500 + VAT
Targeted advice on individual concerns such as structural movement, damp, timber decay, or other defects.
Ideal for post-offer investigations or lender queries where a specific building element is in question.
